Hi, just dropping by to post some images. Yesterday I went digging out some old sketches I made in the beginning of the summer and found some interesting ones that deserve some attention from me. In the top, some boredom crap and feet study - mine's and my dad's (he was so focused playing guitar and I was so bored to watch him play...) - that I totally should finish someday. Planning to make a hand study too. In the bottom, this unfinished piece that due to my inspiration, will obviously be named as Wonderland. I'm looking forward to finish it. And Bambi that after a lot of postponing and procrastination from my side, is finally finished, ... I guess.
So, the week was FINE, but it sure looks like vacation is almost over and it's definitely not a good feeling. So today, the cellphone that I like is only 50€. JUST today. I was temped to buy it online but I'm really trying not to spend money. Was is in today, tomorrow will be out. So I'll keep hanging with my Nokia 5200 as soon as it gets broken. I'll try to earn as much money as I can - that means no magazines, no "cute pens, pencils, notebooks, whatever", no unnecessary stuff. Just some books to get rid of boredom. Oh and totally, no chocolates on school everyday - they're expensive and they make me fat. I just hope school slows me down and keeps me busy enough not to remind me of the word
buy.
I almost forgot that today is
blog day! Enter tthe website to find out how to join this event.
My recomendations are:
Hello Lolla - It's one of my favourite blogs - it gives me so much inspiration to draw and to photograph. Lolla's blog is almost like eating cotton candy, haha. It's written in portuguese, but you can try translating it using google, or maybe just see the wonderful pictures shes posts there.
Process Recess - James Jean's blog where he shows a his sketches and progress of important pieces. I love his art, and he is one of my favourite artists.
Just Lia - Lia's blog is just inspiring. She never gets tired of posting and she does it in a balanced way since she talks about her life and also about music, design, movies and everything you can imagine.
Sushi Cat - I discovered Sushi Cat some weeks ago and I fell in love with it. It's an amazing blog if you like Japan and all things cute. She posts Magazines Scans, which are ideal if you're looking for inspiration.
Squeezie - My last choice goes for Squeezie, a blog that I'm still not familiar about, but it looks great to me. I'm looking foward to read more posts.
Well, it's all.
